Invitation

Dear My Friends

I am privileged to serve as the host of the 31st Japan-Korea Urological Congress in Tokyo, which will be held on September 27(Sat)-28(Sun), 2014. The world has shrunken in this day and era and, and needless to say, our interaction has become far more important and intimate than before. In this regard, we cannot thank sufficiently to our predecessors for their effort in establishing, promoting and fostering our mutual relationship over the last 30 years. Thus, the theme of the meeting will be "Friendship".

Main topics of the meeting will be uro-oncology, LUTS, reconstruction, regeneration, and functional recovery from major urological interventions. We may have insight once we know the contrast between countries in terms of medical attitude and approaches since we have two distinct health care systems. Mutual understanding will be the key for further progress. We will have panels of colleagues of younger generation regarding these issues.

The place of meeting will be at Roppongi Hills, one of the most prominent buildings in Tokyo. You will never be disappointed with the atmosphere of metropolitan in late September. You will enjoy the atmosphere of promenade, nice restaurants, shopping malls, boutiques, and gorgeous views from the skyscraper. Let's have a fun and enjoy the meeting altogether.

Again, I welcome you and am looking forward to seeing you all in Tokyo.

Very cordially,

Shin Egawa, M.D.,
President of the 31st Japan-Korea Urological Congress
